The Problem

Your PC is just as reliant on a regular service as your car or central heating.  Over time, the fans that draw air through the PC case also draw in the dust and fluff in your home.  This builds up around the fans and cooling areas inside.  Left long enough, and the airflow is restricted until that the computer gets too hot inside and crashes.  So if you find your PC seems to stop working after a few hours of use, or the fan noise from the PC is getting louder and louder,, this could be a cause.  The hardware of an overheating PC is far more likely to fail than a well maintained PC.  Heat can cause the CPU to fail, solder joints on the circuit boards to fail and a number of other problems.

The Solution

We offer a complete hardware ‘MOT’ for your computer.  The internal case, circuit boards and fans willl be cleared of buildup, the processor fan and heatsink cleared and new thermal paste appplied.  If the Power Supply unit looks clogged, we will dissasemble and clear that too, (a common problem).  All of this is covered under a single visit and cost.  After the service, you should expect your PC to be quieter, more reliable and less likely to fail when you need it the most.
